Doing alter-geopolitics involves building alternative securities through solidarity. Solidarity organizing in general increasingly leverages and is shaped by online tools. Online organizing is a key part of the changing dynamics of social movements towards what is being called connective action, leaderful movements, and open source campaigning. How might these shifts also change the doing of alter-geopolitics? This inquiry is based on ongoing tracking and analysis of online organizing by various international protective accompaniment teams serving in Colombia, and an in depth look at the Peace Presence team.
