In this poster, I will present the topic of Virtual Reality and Geography in the Developing World at the 2018 AAG Conference in New Orleans, LA. This poster will compose of multiple sections all reflecting the idea of using virtual reality and geography. I will provide background information and a history of Virtual Reality along with a formal introduction of the topic. Embedded within these sections I will provide references which come from external sources which I will properly cite and the end of my poster. Also, I will have an acknowledgments section which will highlight a professional I have formally communicated with and discussed the topic in an organized manner.

The majority of my poster will consist of an applications section. This area will highlight realistic applications of virtual reality and geography in a newly developing world. I plan on highlighting virtual reality in three fields with realistic applications and visuals to engage those who observe the poster. Also, I will talk about certain advancements within the virtual reality world and how they can relate and potentially accelerate the field of geography. I will also include a discussion section which highlights my discussion with a professor and shed light on some of his future projects as well as some of his virtual reality experiments relating to the world of geography. Overall, this poster will highlight plenty of interesting information centered around Virtual Reality and Geography.
