The International Geographical Union Commission on the Sustainability of Rural Systems (IGU-CSRS), in collaboration with the Rural Geography Specialty Group of the American Association of Geographers, welcomes papers focusing on research relevant to rural sustainability across the globe. Topics might include, but are not limited to demographic & social change, agricultural change, transitional landscapes, multi-functionality, organic or small-scale agriculture, land use change, conservation and natural area management. Research conducted in any part of the world is welcome.
