The National Center for Research in Geography Education (NCRGE) is leading a NSF-funded research coordination network to implement an agenda for transformative research in geography education. This session will highlight the work of RCN members who have received grants from NCRGE for research planning and networking activities in three areas: 1) pedagogical content knowledge, 2) GIS teacher professional development, and 3) student transitions from high school to college. Information will also be shared about the 2018 NCRGE transformative research grant program.
