This session welcomes papers that contribute to a critical assessment of the conceptualisation of rural transformation, institutional intervention and social justice in South Asia as globalization swept away the rural hinterland more intrinsically than colonialism. Scholars working on South Asia are requested to send their abstract of about 300 words by 25th October 2017.
