Session Title:
Code Blue: Geospatial Applications for Water Conservation and Management

The culmination of human population growth, climate change, varying environmental policies and landscape development has resulted in an unprecedented era in the field of water resource conservation and management. Geospatial applications offer several innovative tools to evaluate complex human activities that adversely impact water resources across varying geographical scales. This session will offer a platform for colleagues to share research focused on unraveling these relationships using geospatial applications and other innovative analytical techniques. Work that explores these relationships through the lens of landscape analysis, watershed science, surface and groundwater hydrology, remote sensing, GIS, policy, management and modeling are encouraged to participate.
