The industrial development is one of the key tasks of the economic development of the Yangtze River economic belt. How to harmonize the relationship of the land resource allocation and the regional economic development begin to be the important problem of the land use in China. The paper focuses on some factors, such as the economic development level, the industrial development status and the urban ecological civilization construction. To achieve sustainable development of Yangtze River economic belt , it is an inevitable choice to take the action of “Great Protections from All Parties, Limits on Large-scale Development”. This essay introduced ecological priority conservation concept into the industrial selection and traditional land structure optimization path, taking the city of Wuhan as a research object. Firstly, the paper completed the evaluation of ecological sensitivity of land use , using ERDAS image and ARCGIS analysis platform. According to the ecological sensitivity scores, Land in Wuhan will be classified into five grades. Furthermore, through matching different development scenarios and their corresponding ecological conservation scales, construction land constraints limit value and ecological conservation land constraints limit value on different ecological conservation scales are determined. Then, Set the boundary of land use constraint under different ecological conservation scales and different industrial development scenarios. The research, therefore, will through the comparison of different schemes, in perspective of protecting ecological environment and achieving optimal effectiveness, we will select the best land use structure optimization scheme for Wuhan, the typical city of The Yangtze River economic belt.
