Urbanization and Air Pollution——Based on Spatial Econometric Analysis of Wuhan City Circle

This paper takes the Wuhan City Circle as the research object, calculates the correlation between urbanization level and air pollution by constructing the grey correlation function, and then empirically studies the influence of urbanization level on air pollution and its diffusion mechanism by using spatial measurement method. A high-level gray correlation with timing-up trend was founded which also has spatial correlation. But the correlations between different pollutants and the level of urbanization shift differently by time. Moreover, we used a space panel econometric model to analysis the relationship between urbanization and the quality of the urban air pollution , then found that :there is a significant positive correlation and spatial correlation between the concentration of PM10 and urbanization ;there is a significant positive correlation between regional industrial structure and the concentration of SO2; there is a significant positive correlation between urban infrastructure construction investment and concentration of NO2.
