Reclaimed water (RW) for lawn irrigation is looked at as means to conserve potable water. In this study a comparison of the City of St. Petersburg and the County of Pinellas, Fl residents’ knowledge and behavior towards RW were compared. The study showed that no harmful behavior trends were detected. However lack of communication among the different stakeholders were recorded. It is recommended to have more clear regulations about RW for the City of St. Petersburg. Hence, more education and outreach about fertilizer application and regulation are required.
