Drones have become an increasing large part of the world we live in from drone pilots to processing or editing the data acquired. Drones are becoming an integral part of everyday life and an increasingly desirable skill in job market. Drone Pilots and resulting data processing skills are utilized by many professions with more and more being added all the time. Within the academic institution fields of study vary greatly and include but not limited to Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Biology, Mass communications and Education. Instituting classes are only one part of the benefits to the institution as a whole. The data acquired can be utilized by to other departments and staff providing data or even promotional videos. A small investment and can a long ways at your institution.
