This poster maps and analyzes swings in the vote share at the precinct level between the 2016 and 2018 U.S. House elections in the state of Iowa. Voters replaced two of the state's three incumbent Republican representatives with Democratic challengers in 2018 while narrowly retaining the third incumbent. This research gives special attention to common economic and demographic variables as potential factors in this change.
