Call for Submissions

This paper session concerns applications of spatial analysis to conservation planning and natural resources management. We welcome applied and technical papers focusing on spatial technologies such as Geographic Information Science, spatial modeling and remote sensing for the study of biodiversity and environmental conservation. We also welcome technical presentations on new methods or tools. We encourage conservation practitioners to present their ongoing projects and highlight how spatial analysis is used to attain their conservation goals. Specific topics may include- but are not limited to- conservation planning, habitat modeling, ecosystem’s assessments, and habitat connectivity. If you are interested to submit an abstract to this session, want to know if your idea is a good fit, or seek more information, please contact the session organizer Florencia Sangermano (fsangermano@clarku.edu).
