Geographers will discuss the increase in production and trends in the wine industry in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New England, and North Carolina. Discussion will center on the great variety of grapes ranging from vinifera to French hybrids and why each area can produce wine that have a regional imprint.
