The arts can be considered as a territorial expression, which responds to precepts that are inscribed both in the tradition of a regional geography and a cultural geography, although both have a different tradition, sometimes conflictive and even at some points seem irreconcilable. In this sense, to understand the territory, as a space of reason, emotion and as a creation, all arts are and can form an integral part of the process of geographical knowledge. In this context, the present work has two central objectives: a) To approach literature as a source of information in studies that analyze the landscape and the territory; B) Show that the detective novel has a broad spatial vision in which the concepts of landscape, territory and place find a privileged expression.
