How do the nuances of space influence team spatial learning and the behaviors of teams in that space? This paper seeks to spatially inform methodologies of the sciences of spatial cognition as developed by psychologists, behavioral geographers, linguists, and others and the science of team cognition as developed by industrial/organizational psychologists, social psychologists, and others. This article presents a methodological review of geospatial techniques to potentially improve metrics and methods for researching team spatial cognition. The spatial analytic methods include cartographic, spatial data query, network analysis, spatial optimization, spatial statistics, 3D analysis, raster analysis, and spatio-temporal analysis.
