The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) manages geospatial data for the water drainage network the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD), and National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDPlus HR). USGS is also implementing new methods to update, improve, and enhance national hydrography. Current products and services will be detailed in this session. This presentation will discuss objectives to improve the accuracy and density of data with elevation-derived hydrography and highlight efforts to provide web-based applications for issue reporting and for editing data.
