Understanding human thermal preferences is nuanced based on many geographic factors such as culture, activity, expectations, personal physiology, and time of year. In this research I explore how people respond and interpret varying weather events. Through surveys, outdoor and indoor participants have been asked for their interpretations of the thermal condition. Results indicate what temperature and synoptic scale weather events correspond with 'expected weather' for the Missouri-Ozarks region.
