Succession of the cultural sector adapted buildings’ function in middle-sized cities in Poland

The aim of the study was to determine the significance and directions of changes taking place in the field of object adaptation for cultural sector after 1990 in Poland. All the cities with 20,000 to 100,000 inhabitants were analyzed. The direction of building usage changes and the impact of cultural led-regeneration in that context was traced on selected examples. The occurring changes were determined, among others on the example of "Rumia library effect" and in the context of innovation’s diffusion.
