General concepts of spatial thinking are tailored to the specific phenomena of study in a particular domain of knowledge. A long history of intellectual achievement related to spatial thinking exists in both geographical and psychological research. This panel session will explore past experiences and future opportunities for successful interdisciplinary research at the nexus of these domains.
