This session will host a series of lightning talks on University geospatial centers. We will examine the role of these centers as research centers, library facilities, and training laboratories. We identify these centers emerging responsibilities in uses of geospatial data and application of geospatial analyses. We discuss the rewards these centers provide in enhancing understanding of geospatial science, identification of geospatial resources, and provision of cutting edge technologies for problem solving in higher education.
