This interactive session will present opportunities to plan research and practical activities using restricted datasets from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) in Geography. Participants will review the findings of a multi-level statistical analysis of NAEP Geography Assessment datasets and discuss how the results can inform future research and other activities to improve geography education. The session will also provide information about a forthcoming educational assessment research conference being organized by the National Center for Research in Geography Education with support from the National Science Foundation.
