Based on the success of the sessions over the last five years, the Rural Geography Specialty Group will organize paper sessions highlighting rural research in European contexts. There is cutting edge rural research occurring around the world that deserves to be recognized and celebrated. This paper session(s) will present the work of geographers studying rural issues in Europe. The Rural Geography Specialty Group is committed to diversity in its membership and its research. We encourage diverse opinions and viewpoints in all sessions we sponsor.
