Deep learning is an implementation of artificial intelligence that leverages deep neural networks to tackle difficult problems in computer vision. ArcGIS supports various imagery deep learning capabilities in both ArcGIS Pro and the ArcGIS API for Python. These capabilities empower the user to automate the task of insight extraction from nadir or oblique imagery, including asset extraction, pixel classification, feature categorization and so on. In this workshop, we will cover the necessary steps to perform end-to-end analysis using deep learning within ArcGIS, from data pre-processing to visualization. After this session, you should be familiar with the different types of deep learning workflows in ArcGIS and how you can train a model to perform large scale feature extraction over your imagery data.
